Sister Eva Marie Lumas, SSS, D.Min.

Sister Eva Marie Lumas has served as an Assistant Professor of Catechesis and Culture at the Franciscan School of Theology, Berkeley, and a Catechetical Consultant for the (Arch) dioceses of Los Angeles and Oakland. She is an experienced catechist and well sought after present on the topics faith and culture, interculturation, catechist formation , catechetical methodology, and is serving as Associate Director of the C&E Program for the Institute for Black Catholic Studies, at Xavier University of Louisiana.

Sister Eva is also Director of Sankofa Works, a catechetical training and resource network for the African-American community.
